Basically, by 9 pm or so we're done walking around Genting. So it's time to head down back, by cable-car...
Take a journey across space and time through the multi-dimensional door that is the soul of my being... For the Salik (Arabic for traveller, also a Sufi term for a searcher) merges in him the raw qualities of an earthly being nicely blended with the divine qualities that belong to Him, the Alpha and Omega of everything.

Back from a short trip to Genting...
A short trip to Genting...
About 2 weeks ago, I took the wife on a motorbike trip. We planned to go to Janda Baik but through a different route, through Batang Kali by the uphill route to get up to Genting Highland.
The last time I took this route by any vehicle was probably more than 5 years ago. So I didn't realise it would take one up to the cable car station before heading downhill back towards Pahang where the road would connect to Janda Baik. Since I haven't been to Genting for quite a while, why not take the cable car up to the summit?
So there we where on the way up...
As the cable-car climbed up further I couldn't help reminiscing some thoughts. But let me keep all that in private... :]OK... let the rest of the cable-car journey be shown through these slides...
Soon enough, we arrived at the summit more than 6,000 feet above sea level...
Tasik Biru, the "Blue Lake"
This is a night picture of a lake I visited about 3 weeks ago. After fetching my wife from her office in Jalan Ipoh, I felt like taking the route through Sungai Buloh to get back to our home in Bandar Tasik Puteri, a route which I haven't taken before but have at least passed through portions of it a few times. My wife knows the way. We passed through Kundang then a lake called Tasik Biru. That's where we felt like having dinner. And I decided to take this picture...
It was pitch dark except at the stalls. This is the best picture I could get showing parts of the lake...
A week later, we passed this lake again unplanned. We were then going elsewhere but since we passed the lake and the day is very hot, might as well stop for a drink and rest...
The lake is quite calming...
Here's the view I tried to snap at night without success. Refer to the first picture...
And here is shown the name of the lake "Tasik Biru" which literally means the "Blue Lake". Is it really blue? You'll be the judge...
