An expo on Malay heritage at Matrade

Yesterday I went to the Matrade building near Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur to attend a seminar on Malay heritage.

They also held an expo so I checked this out first.

Some of my Malay sovereignity activist friends shared a booth.

They deal mainly in traditional Malay attire (which they did not wear in full when I came in the morning, they did later close to lunch) and weapons.

Then there is a booth from another group of activists.

Like myself and the rest they also like to wear full traditional attire at functions. But this one specialises in traditional archery. These are modern target butts though...

Besides is a silat, Malay traditional art of self-defence booth. Most if not all of the activists are well-versed in this art albeit practising different styles from different schools.

Then there are booths on traditional clothes, embroideries, wood carving and such. After all it is an expo on Malay heritage.
