Turtle sanctuary at Pasir Panjang

Continuing from More beauty off Pasir Giam.

After noon we left Pangkor and got back on mainland. Next we went to the turtle sanctuary at Pasir Panjang, some 20 km north of the town of Lumut.

I have been here a number of time including with the wife and our two small kids. This is the first time we brought 2 of our older children along...

More beauty off Pasir Giam

Continuing from The beauty of Pasir Giam.

Further on there is this jungle track.

I took it and found it leads to a more secluded part of Pasir Giam.

The beauty of Pasir Giam

Continuing from Exploring north-east Pangkor.

Heading back towards Teluk Nipah we stopped at another stretch of beach.

It is situated next to Teluk Nipah. So you can see the same small islands around albeit from different angles slightly to the north.

I learned later that this beach is called Pasir Giam. On its northern part lies this stretch...

The views from here seems much better...

The water also looks much clearer.

Exploring north-east Pangkor

At 10.40 am we went for a drive towards the north-east part of the island of Pangkor.

The previous day we had made a stop around these parts and noticed a small road. Today, we decided to take it to as far as we could get.

The road ends at the entrance of what seems to be an abandoned resort.

It faces a secluded stretch of beach...
