A passing look at Hatyai

From Lam Pam we rushed to the city of Hatyai.

After having lunch at a halal foot stall we went around the city.

I have been here a number of times while my wife has been here once.

It was the first time for our two friends who tagged along for this Thailand trip though...

But we were already too tired after spending 11 days on the road.

So our tour of Hatyai was more of a passing look before we headed further southwards to return to Malaysia...

Lake Songkhla from the watch tower at Lam Pam

Continuing from The river bridge at Lam Pam.

Crossing the bridge, I saw a watch tower overlooking Lake Songkhla...

So naturally I went up the tower...

And here I enjoyed more views of the lake which looks like a sea...

The river bridge at Lam Pam

Next, I headed for a bridge which crosses the river at Lam Pam...

It is a wooden bridge which can be used by motorcyclists...

Enjoying the views around...

Lake Songkhla from an abandoned hall

Continuing from Lake Songkhla from Lam Pam.

Still at Lam Pam, I saw this building 50 metres or so at the end of a bridge...

It looks like an abandoned hall...

It has a verandah which offers wide vistas of Lake Songkhla.

So here are looks around...
