Chao Phraya river in front of Chedi Sri Suriyothai

Continuing from The Chao Phraya from Ayutthaya Riverside House.

On the opposite side of the river there is a prominent monument called Chedi Sri Suriyothai.

In front of it is a pavillion of sorts...

The pavillion faces the Chao Phraya river...

Peace be upon you this Friday morning. On to the 9th day of the Cambodia-Thailand trip.

The previous articles have shown how me and family travelled from Battambang in Cambodia on to Ayutthaya in Thailand using various means of transport. Friday morning 30th November 2018. After spending the night at a nice lodging house called the Ayutthaya Riverside House its time to have a look outside.

The house faces the famous Chao Phraya river...
