Late in the afternoon I went to Kampung Ampang at Tapah and saw this bridge.
It crosses the Batang Padang river which also runs beside the Tapah town...

Tasik Chenderoh from a sort of resort
Continuing from Tasik Chenderoh from Kampung Kelantan.
Hoping to get a wider look of Tasik Chenderoh I took a rural road which leads to a southern portion of the lake.
It leads to a sort of resort which was closed at that time.
Having caught sight of parts of the lake system I decided to have a closer look.
So here are some of the views I got.
Later did I found that there other places for more vantage views.
But for the best views one must venture to the centre of the lake system by boat.
And that should be about 4 km by water from here.
Tasik Chenderoh from Kampung Kelantan
Continuing from The extensive lake system of Tasik Raban.
Going further south I went into Kampung Kelantan to reach an edge of the much more extensive Tasik Chenderoh lake system.
However unlike Tasik Raban or even Tasik Tampan it is not as accessible by land.
Here one could only catch a small glimpse of the large lake system...

While Tasik Tampan could be attributed to just one or two interconnected lakes the lake system of Tasik Raban is much more extensive comprising a system of more interconnected lakes...

Peace be upon you all. On to the 5th and final day of the recent Perak and Penang trip.
Thursday morning 11th August 2022. After spending the night at a mosque south of Lenggong town I headed further southwards via the old trunk road and decided to make a stop at this closed stall.
It is situated besides Tasik (lake of) Tampan.
The misty morning added to its allure...

A vantage point near Balik Pulau
On to the 4th day of the recent Perak and Penang trip.
Wednesday afternoon 10th August 2022. An old college friend brought me for lunch at Balik Pulau and then showed with this vantage point on top a nearby hill.
Situated at the Balik Pulau to Air Itam and Gelugor route it offers wide vistas of the surroundings...
