A look again at the Muar-Jempol rivers meet area

Peace be upon you. On to the last day of the recent southern trip.

Friday morning 28th April 2023. After spending the night at a relative's house in Felda Jelai we headed for Kampung Jambu Lapan near Bahau where lies this place.

This is the where the Muar and Jempol rivers meet.

The Jewel and its spectacular indoor waterfall

Continuing from Views from around the Merlion.

Later in the afternoon we were brought the Changi airport.

We were shown a building called the Jewel, a shopping complex attached to the airport.

Its main attraction is an indoor manmade waterfall.

Surrounded by a tropical something it is indeed a spectacular attraction...

Continuing from A look at Sentosa Island.

After visiting some more places we went to the main esplanade facing the mouth of the Singapura river.

This is where the Merlion statue (mermaid plus lion) which is a main landmark and pride of the island state is located at.

Its location gives some of the best views of the city centre and its surroundings...

A look at Sentosa Island

Continuing from New visit to the peak of Mount Faber.

From Mount Faber we took the bridge to the nearby Sentosa Island.

In my last visit to Singapura more than 10 years I didn't share any bridge to the island. As far as I could remember then access is only by cable car from Mount Faber.

Sentosa Island is a recreational area which over the years have seen a number of new attractions and theme parks came into being.

So we went for a quick look around...
