A quick look at the Klah Hotsprings park

Continuing from Sungkai river at Muara Tisong.

Turning back towards the settlements of Felda Klah I made an excursion into the Klah Hotsprings park.

The day was hot. It was hardly a time for recreation especially when involving hot water and hot springs.

So there was practically no one around as I took a quick look at the park...

Or rather, a small part of the park.

Sungkai river at Muara Tisong

Continuing from Small bridge of Perlok Lama.

After crossing the Sungkai river at Perlok Lama I took the road going inland towards the mountains past Felda Klah into an Orang Asli village until the road ends.

That's when I came across a recreational area which I learned later is called Muara Tisong.

The waters seen here is the Sungkai river.

But the name Muara Tisong which means estuary of the Tisong river implies that there is a smaller river called Tisong which flows into the Sungkai river somewhere around here.

Small bridge of Perlok Lama

Continuing from Sungkai river at Perlok Lama.

Further inside the village of Perlok Lama I came across this small bridge.

It crosses the Sungkai river leading towards the settlement of Felda Klah.

Sungkai river at Perlok Lama

Continuing from Sungkai river from a designated campsite in Jernang.

After getting out of Jernang I took a village road to get to Felda Klah and found myself entering a village called Perlok Lama.

That's when I found another area close to the Sungkai river...

Sungkai river from a designated campsite in Jernang

Continuing from Sungkai river from a clearing in Jernang.

Closer towards the more civilised world but still in between the Orang Asli villages of Jernang is an area designated as campsite near the Sungkai river.

As such the river is much more accessible from there...

Sungkai river from a clearing in Jernang

Continuing from Looking at the Orang Asli villages in Jernang, Sungkai.

In between the Orang Asli villages of Jernang, on the way out towards the more civilised world, I caught sight of a clearing close to the Sungkai river

From there one could catch nice views of the river...

It is the just the clearing is situated on high ground.

Looking at the Orang Asli villages in Jernang, Sungkai

Peace be upon you. A week ago I made a small trip to Perak. A bit of sharing...

Tuesday morning 2nd May 2023 I went to Ipoh for a business. The following day Wednesday 3rd May, after spending the night at the main mosque of Sungkai I decided to venture to a place called Jernang.

Situated onto the slopes of the mountains of the main range that is Banjaran Titiwangsa it houses a few Orang Asli (aborigine) villages.

I went in as far as decently possible on my small car...
