Continuing from Checking out the southernmost part of mainland Asia.

Next we took the walkway towards the very southernmost part of that tip.

The globe marks the very southernmost tip of mainland Asia.

Across you could the island state of Singapura...

However there is a man-made island belonging to Johor in-between.

A look towards the north shows a jetty. The lands in view is in Johor.

 However the path leading to the jetty is disordered.

Checking out the southernmost part of mainland Asia

Peace be upon you. On to the 5th day of the recent southern trip.

Thursday morning 26th December 2024. I brought two sons to the Tanjung Piai national park.

Full of mangrove trees it covers a tip of land which is the southernmost part of mainland Asia.

This is towards the southwest part of that tip.

Across the waters that is the Straits of Melaka lies the Indonesian island of Pulau Karimun.

New visit to Tanjung Piai resort

Jumping on to the 4th day of the recent southern trip.

Wednesday 25th December 2024. We continued our journey southwards from Muar to Batu Pahat on to Pontian. At Tanjung Piau we visited its resort.

We have spent a night once a this particular part of the resort.

But that was sometime in 2010, over  14 years ago.
