Muar river from a part of Kampung Temiang
Peace be upon you. Some stories from a trip back to Muar 5-8 June.
Saturday afternoon 7th June 2025. I took a walk some distance from my parents' house in Kampung Temiang, Muar and came across this small jetty.
I have been to nearby jetties facing the Muar river but this was my first time here.

A stop at Pulau Bunting bridge
Continuing from Foray to Kuala Sedaka - Part II.
In the previous article I have shown this picture. In the horizon is an island called Pulau Bunting.
There is a bridge to the island. It was meant for a project which got abandoned.
I have always wanted to go to the island. But the path is blocked by a gate.
So I have to be contented with views from around the gate...

Peace be upon you. On to the 4th day of the recent northern trip
Sunday afternoon 1 June 2025. After spending the night at a friend's house near the feet of Gunung (mount) Jerai we visited a number of mosque before foraying to a place called Kuala Sedaka.
Kuala means mouth of a river. The name of the river is Sedaka.
Caught sight of this building, I don't what it is called.
Decided to go up for a look around...

The beach at RnR of Bagan Ajam
Something more from the recent northern trip. Continuing from Jetty of Beting Beras Basah in 2025
Saturday afternoon 31st May 2025. On the way from the island part of the state of Pulau Pinang to Gurun, Kedah via the mainland part we came across and interesting rest area.
Designated in the map as RnR (recreational and rest) area of Bagan Ajam it is located besides a local highway.
There is a recreational beach...
It was told the whole area was built on reclaimed land some years ago.
