Besides the old station is the new train station of Kuala Lipis.
I don't know when it was open.
What I do know, in my last visit to Kuala Lipis which I'm not sure when but could be in 2016, it was not in existence.

New visit to Kuala Lipis old train station
Continuing from Reminiscing at Kuala Kenong.
About half an hour later arrived at the town of Kuala Lipis and immediately went to its old train station.
This place has always been nostalgic for me.
I don't remember when was the last time I made a visit.
But the last time I came and wrote about it in 2016 it was still in use. Look at the old article Kuala Lipis railway station revisited after the big flood of 2014.
Reminiscing at Kuala Kenong
Continuing from A misty morning at Kuala Tembeling.
Just before noon arrived at a place called Kuala Kenong some 15 km towards the town of Kuala Lipis.
It is also a tourist attraction but not as famous as the National Park at Kuala Tahan.
I don't know why all the pictures taken here seem a bit fuzzy, not sharp as it should be.
Perhaps because I was there to reminisce a visit made more than 20 years ago.
At the time I followed relatives to get to a rural village across the river.
We crossed using a steel ferry which is not available anymore...

A misty morning at Kuala Tembeling
Peace be upon you. Continuing stories from the Pahang trip last week.
Saturday morning 2nd August 2025. After spending the night at the mosque of Kuala Tembeling I went to its jetty.
It is famous as the tourist gateway to get to the National Park at Kuala Tahan.
The jetty is situated besides the Jelai river.
However ahead in the picture lies the mouth of the Tembeling river.
This gives the name Kuala Tembeling, kuala meaning mouth of river. You can take it by boat 2-3 hours to get to Kuala Tahan.

Latest visit to the caves of Kota Gua Gelanggi
Continuing from Latest look at the Chenor waterfront.
Next, I rushed to the limestone hill complex known as Kota Gua Gelanggi.
Just like in my last visit in 2022 I immediately went to these parts.
