On to Bukit Tabur - Part VI

Continuing from On to Bukit Tabur - Part V.

It was already 6.36 pm as I decided to press on further.

That seems like the highest peak. Time was 6.48 then. I could still press on.

I did so while taking pictures around...

Looking behind at the previous peak. Time was then 6.54.

As it turned out there is still a higher peak. As the time was then 6.57 I decided to turn back to descend...

Onwards to a peak...

Still there are higher peaks to reach...

At this juncture I thought I was on to the highest peak...

Yet a higher peak lies some distance ahead. For the record this is the 2,686th article in this blogspot.

Continuing from On to Bukit Tabur - Part III.

After sometime climbing however I found myself taking a path which goes downwards.

I thought it was a necessary path to reach a higher but not easily accessible peak  as it is marked along the way.

For the record the hill has many peaks.

So while my heart says I should be up these cliffs, I went on following the path downwards hoping it would eventually lead upwards again.

After some time however the path marking seemed to lead to a dead end. There are just no decent way forward to climb.

So I retraced my steps some distance to this point.

That is when I realised I should have taken another path situated to right, not the one taken to the left going downwards.

Then only I found myself going upwards again...
