The friendlier face of Muar's main mosque

It has become a habit it seems for me to make breaks in-between series of story-telling and here's one...

During the Chinese New Year holidays last week I returned to my hometown Muar and visited the main mosque.

This place holds too much childhood memories. I used to run around with friends before climbing up and down the columns at so many places.

So what a pleasant surprise for me to see major changes in the rear parts.

Actually I've first saw the changes with displays and such in a visit made half-a-year ago. But it wasn't complete then.

Oh. A look inside the main praying hall. Someone was getting married...

Back to rear parts where lies the pool for taking abolution and some fountains.

There used to be only one fountain, the main one in the middle. Now there's a few more. Oh, the columns used to be plain blue, or when I was small just plain yellow, another time plain white. But never as decorated as now...

Why they even have free reading materials and places to sit for reading.

So I decided to hand over the first three books written by myself, the "Berpetualang ke Aceh" trilogy of novels.
