Going around the small town of Dabong

Continued from Sungai (river of) Galas from the Jelawang to Dabong town bridge.

From the bridge across the river Galas we took the junction to the small town of Dabong.

But instead of going to the town we headed straight for the small train station. For I have always love stations like this. There's a certain quaint feeling to it.

Before the station there's a flyover passing the railways tracks to get to town. But I decided to take the alternative route at the north which goes under the tracks.

The route then curves anti-clockwise passing the river Galas at one side.

You could see the railway tracks on your left.

After a few houses comes the school, a main one attended by students from villages as far as tens of miles around.

Then comes the town...

I've told you it's just a small town, a very small one. So there's not much to be expected unless you are the type that loves the peace and quiteness of rural grounds.

From the town I took the flyover to get out. Here's a look of the train station from on top...
