The shopping stop at Bukit Bunga

From Golok we re-entered Rantau Panjang and headed east towards the trunk road to Jeli. But we didn't want to go to Jeli, we just want to get to Bukit Bunga.

Bukit Bunga is another entry point to southern Thailand. But you don't have to cross the border for cheap goods, you can visit the many shops lining up the part of Bukit Bunga which crosses the road to Jeli, the same trunk road to get to Kota Bahru (on the opposite direction)...

A look towards Jeli.

See the yellow-coloured mosque at the end of the road? We stopped there first before getting here.

On one side of the road are a number of restaurants.

But the main attraction are the row of wooden shops selling a variety of goods on the other side.

Some information on Bukit Bunga...

That's the wife and kids looking around for something.
