A better look of the mosque of Tokku Paloh

Peace be upon you all. The article The Batik cottage industry at village of Tok Panjang made 26 days ago is actually the last posting for the 8th day of the travel to the East Coast made for this blogspot. Now comes postings for the 9th day...

Sunday 2nd January 2011. After spending the night at this mosque its time to take pictures.

This is the mosque of Tok Ku Paloh in Kuala Terengganu. After spending some time around Kota Bahru, Kelantan the previous day we left for Terengganu in the evening.

Now I have been to the mosque many many times and have spent a few nights here.

But this is the first time I brought the wife and our baby to spend the night.

Despite the fact I've been here many many times it seems I haven't got much picture of the mosque.

Maybe I've taken it for granted. So in this visit I made a point to take many pictures.

There. I even had a good look at the pail used to draw water out of the well.

The pail is supported by a lever system.

Back to the mosque.

The tower...

Going inside.

Praying hall.

Mihrab, the front-most section.

  2. Yes. In fact before that we slept at Masjid Tok Kenali with our two older kids and another mosque near Kuala Besar, Kota Bahru, mouth of Sungai Kelantan.
