The beach called Teluk Chempedak

Peace be upon you all. Time to continue the East Coast travel storytelling. Enter the 10th day...

From Terengganu we went to Kuantan, Pahang and slept at a relative's house. The following morning, Monday 3rd January we went to the nearby beach of Teluk Chempedak.

It is the closest to Kuantan and one of the premier beach of the East Coast.

Let's have a look at the beach itself.

Looking at the vastness that is the South China Sea.

And on to explore its lengths.

It is hardly the widest or longest beach along the East Coast, after all it is confined within the boundaries of a bay, the Teluk (bay of) Chempedak (jackfruit).

Yet it is not so much about width, length or jackfruits but a certain beauty of the beach.

Ahead you could see a wooden walkway. We'll have a look at it later, an interesting look indeed...

Now let's have quick look at the amenities.

Besides a playground and food court there's also restaurants and at least one major hotel around.

A bit of information on Teluk Chempedak...
