A quick look at the town of Kuantan

Continued from The black sand of Teluk Tongkang.

Next we entered the town of Kuantan.


Being the state capital of Pahang it is a large bustling town.

If memory serves me right at this point we have already entered the main street which runs closest along the river of Kuantan.

Kompleks Terutum is one of the main landmarks of the town.

Here I made a turn to get to another main street running along the previous one.

This street is more inland.

Next could be seen the state mosque of Pahang.
