Going into the district of Batu Pahat. Continued from The hot spring of Sungai Grisek.
The first thing I did upon entering this district is to look for the old ferry jetty at the northern part of the Batu Pahat river.
Once upon a time people used to go to and fro the town of Batu Pahat from here.
But the ferry service has been abandoned since the Batu Pahat bridge was opened just over 30 years ago or so.
