Stopping by Tanjung Keramat, Temerloh

Going further south down the rural road one will reach a dead end.

It lies about 430 metres south of the junction to the town of Temerloh. From here one could clearly see the giants signboard spelling the name Temerloh.

For the record Temerloh is both the name of the nearby town and surrounding district.

The area where the dead end lies is called Tanjung Keramat.

It is situated at the north of the mouth of the Semantan river. The river flows into the bigger Pahang river.

Across the Semantan river lies the town of Temerloh.

However, access from here is limited to a pedestrian bridge crossing the Semantan river. To get to Temerloh by car you have to take a junction which leads to a motorist bridge about 660 metres inland...
