Starting the day by presenting more articles on the 2nd day of the recent Kalimantan trip. Continuing from Views in front of Daeng Menambon's tomb.
After visiting a few more places in and around Mempawah we headed for Singkawang some 3 hour trip to the north. About 15 km before it lies the recreational beach of Pasir Panjang.
We decided to have a look and veered off the main road.
Soon we could see a playground of sort...
It lies besides the beach.
I noticed a signboard mentioning this area as Tanjung Bajau.
Tanjung must refer to a cape around here while Pasir Panjang literally means the long beach.
What I could see is there is a long beach followed by a cape to the north. Looks like both are part of the same recreational area or beach...
