Continuing from Beting Beras Basah at dusk.
The following morning I made another visit to Beting Berash Basah. Look at the article (The place called) Beting Beras Basah in the blogspot SENI LAMA MELAYU (MALAY OLDEN ART). After that I went around exploring the nearby areas. That's went I saw a junction and these signs.
It all points to a place called Sungai Burung.
I decided to venture in.
As it turns out there is a fishing settlement here.
And the jetty also serves as the embarkation point to get to Pulau Sembilan, a cluster of small islands about 17 to 20 kilometres from here.
By right one should be able to see the islands from the jetty.
But the weather and sun is such that the islands became shrouded from plain view.
A look back...
I wouldn't have realised the existence of this place if not because of curiosity...
