Something from last Sunday...
Returning from Sungai Besar via a rural road I saw signboards pointing to a firefly sanctuary at Sungai Panjang.
Actually I've seen at least a signboard a number of times. Only this time I felt like taking heed...
I followed the direction given and arrived at this jetty.
It sat besides the Bernam river, the natural border between the states of Selangor and Perak.
Of course you can't see fireflies at this hour. Anyway, a look upriver...
