Island hopping around Teluk Nipah

Continuing from Snorkelling at Pulau Giam.

After we're done snorkelling it's time to look at the surrounding attractions available within the waters of Teluk Nipah.

At one end of Pulau Giam is a stone they call the Batu Penyu, the turtle rock.

It looks like a giant turtle coming out of water.

However, the same stone seen from the other side looks like a crocodile basking on shore. Thus they call it Batu Buaya, the crocodile rock...

Next, we headed for a bigger island called Pulau Mentangor.

View of the beach of Teluk Nipah as we went along.

Then one could see a secluded beach they call Pantai Monyet (beach of the monkeys).

Here one could see the main island of Pangkor to the left, Pulau Mentangor to the right.

A close up of that part of Pulau Mentangor shows what they call the Whale Rock.

Pantai Monyet again on the way to return to Teluk Nipah...

Approaching the beach. And so the island hopping ended...
