Sunset from Selat Melaka mosque



After we're done at Bandar Hilir we decided to go to the Selat Melaka (Straits of Melaka) mosque.





Lying on a man-made island extending 300 metres and out from the mainland the mosque offers vantage views of the straits.


As it extends westwards this is also a good place to catch the sunset.





So while the crew worked on catching a time lapse recording of the sun going down I stayed on at the furthest extend of the mosque watching the open waters and the sky...
