Close up look at where the Lipis river meets the Jelai

This time I also decided to a check a very special place which I have only seen from afar before...

First, do recognise this as part of the Jelai river.

Notice waters of different colour flowing into the murkier Jelai river?

To the left is the Lipis river, or rather... the Lipis river mouth!

For the record the town of Kuala Lipis got its name from this place. Kuala means ribver mouth or estuary. So Kuala Lipis refers to the mouth of Lipis river. Here's a look of downstream Jelai river from the mouth.

A look across.

A look downstream and you can see the bridge crossing the Jelai river.

Turning anti-clockwise to concentrate on the Lipis river.

There is a railway bridge crossing close to its mouth...
