Continuing from Morning views from the southern beaches of Pulau Besar.
I spent the night in the tent with the wife and kids. After having a dip at the small stretch of beach in front of the tent followed by washing up at a nearby well we went out for a walk.
We stopped by at some of the peculiar attractions of Pulau Besar.
For the record the island is known for tombs and places believed to have mystical powers.
Our real target however lies slightly further.
We have to pass a small stretch of beach facing the west and then trekked up a hillside...
Along the way the boys caught sight of this stone and decided to hang about for a while...

Stopped a while on top of a huge boulder.
Going down besides the boulder.
There, we have arrived at the targetted destination.
