Lecture and recital of the Dalail Khairat

Peace be upon you all. From last Saturday till yesterday my calendar was filled with a number of activities including some travels. Before my next bout of activities occupy let's starting sharing stories on some of the recent activities.

Saturday morning 24th September me and family went to the Islamic Arts Museum at Taman Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur...

There's a special function we want to attend at a part of the museum.

There is a lecture on the Dalail Khairat, a book of prayers and supplication invoking the spiritual intercession of Prophet Muhammad SAW.

The book was written some 400 years ago by a spiritual master known as Imam al-Jazuli who lived and thrived in North Africa.

The history of the Imam which includes some miracles was told along with special qualities of the book which written by inspiration...

The audience then was asked to recite along the contents of the Dalail Khairat.

As it turned out it takes no less than an hour to recite the full text. In fact we were told it normally takes 2-3 hours to finish at normal pace. But many does it because of the spiritual benefits. It's just we can't wait till it is finished as we had another function to attend.
