Looking at the small town at old Singgora

Continuing from The waters facing old Singgora.

Besides the ferry jetty lies the entrance to a small town. 

Before taking the ferry I decided to have a look at the town.

I understand this small town lies at the site of the early 17th century centre of the Malay kingdom of Singgora.

Now it is just a fringe part of the more modern city of Songkhla...
