Continuing from Views of the big bay around Pria Laot.
After Pria Laot the road starts to twist and turn going north-west. We went on following the road to its end and arrived at a very special place.
It is known as the "Kilometer 0". Locals pronounce it as Kilometer Nol.
It is the northern-most part of Aceh and also that of Indonesia.
For people entering South-East Asia from the west this is the first part of Indonesia they could see...
The waters in front are the meeting line between the Andaman Sea and the Indian Ocean.
