Continuing from Walking around the back parts of Pasar Aceh.
In the afternoon we went to the jetty complex at Ulee Lheue.
We wanted to catch the ferry to the Pulau (island of) Weh and were earlier told the afternoon ferry would leave at 3.
It was only at the jetty that we found out the ferry would only leave after 4.
Anyway after the initial rush to get to the jetty from the centre of Banda Aceh we soon went safely onboard.
Views as the ferry left the jetty...
After half an hour or so we could see the mountains of Pulau Weh looming in view...
By the way Pulau Weh is more popularly known as Sabang.
That actually refers to the capital town of the island.

From here it about 20 km to the town of Sabang...
