Giant wind turbines on the way to Nakhon Si Thammarat

Continuing from The beach at Singha Nakhon.

From Singha Nakhon in Songkhla we headed northwards to the city of Nakhon Si Thammarat. After 80 km or so we began to see giant wind turbines on the horizon.

Spaced about 300 metres from each other there seeemed to be more than 50 of these gigantic wind-harnessing apparatus.

I was excited upon the sight for the first few kilometres.

 This soon wear out after it started to become a common sight...
