Repeating a hill at Bandar Sungai Buaya and a higher one behind

For the last one month or so it has been raining regularly in the afternoon except for a few days in between. Last Tuesday I find space to indulge in another session of hill climbing.

This time I went alone.

It is the first hill I've climbed in Bandar Sungai Buaya almost 5 years ago.

Since then I have climbed it many times.

Climbing up to the rocky peak...

Here's a look around...

Seen here is a higher hill connected to this one by a saddle formation.

I have climbed that hill only once. So there I was heading there via the saddle.

However I often found heavy growth blocking...

And it was hard to tell if I've reach its highest peak because of obscured views...

The lake called Tasik Widuri at Bukit Beruntung

Peace be upon you all. Referring to the article Going up the tallest hill in Bukit Sentosa, Rawang and Going up the tallest hill in Bukit Sentosa, Rawang - On to the summit. After returning home from the climb I decide to check the local geography using Google Satellite. That's when I found a quite interesting lake not far away and decided to check it out...

The lake lies beside a part of Bukit Beruntung with a road called Jalan Widuri...

As such it is called Tasik Widuri.

Me and wife were told these parts used to be covered by deep growth obscuring views of the lake.

It was cleared just about half a year ago opening up wide vistas which became instant attraction for people.

Next we walked to the northern part of the lake.

These parts were also covered by growth and it was opened earlier about a year ago...
