My first proper look at Muar's Tanjung Ketapang in ages

Continuing from Views from Puncak Bendera - The flag summit.

In the evening, after making visits to a number of old tombs with historical significance I went to the recreational area called Tanjung Ketapang close to the Muar river mouth.

This place and its surrounding areas used to be a favourite haunt since I was a small boy growing up at my grandma's house just about a kilometre away.

However it was closed to traffic since a number of years ago.

Since then I never ventured inside the areas confined to pedestrians and cyclists, that is until the recent Saturday evening...
