Climbing up so many staircases to get to a tomb on top of hill at Barus

Continuing from The beach at Barus.

The main reason we went to Barus is to visit tombs of a number of early Muslim preachers.

The main one is situated on top of a hill.

To get there we must walk across a country side before climbing up so many staircases to the top of the hill.

So say we must climb up close to 800 steps, some say more than 1,000.

What is clear it is situated very high. Not high for a mountain climber but very high for one to visit a tomb...
