Peace be upon you all. Just some things from last weekend...
Saturday afternoon 15th October 2022. After meeting a son who is studying at an Islamic religious boarding school in Janda Baik I decided to take the road up to Genting Highlands.
It has been sometime since I visited this resort on top of a mountain.
The last time was with the wife in 2009.
Even then we rode by bike to the cable car station and continued the rest of the journey by cable car.
I have been up riding my big bike a number of times.
But I only remembered for certain coming up 2-3 times while still serving as a journalist for the English daily The News Straits Times in 1996-2001.
Between 2001 and 2009 I am sure I have rode my bike up once or twice.
Oh. Suddenly came to mind that I have been up once by bus within that time period...
I can't remember going up by car though. Probably have done that with my ex-wife when we're still married in 1999 to 2002.
I am sure we have here together at least once. But that could also be by bike.
Anyway this should be the first time I went up with this car which belongs to my wife.
It was too foggy to savour the views though...
