On to the site of Kota Lumut

Continuing from Perak river at Pulau Tiga Kiri.

After Pulau Tiga I took the small road to Pasir Salak and went on further and further south.

I went until the road ends and continued by foot.

Seen in the middle of the picture is a part of the Perak river.

I walked as far as I could towards the river before finding the swamps blocking the path.

Here you could a smaller river (the locals call it the Lumut river) flowing into the Perak river.

At the tip of land where the rivers meet should be the site of an old fort  called Kota Lumut which have existed some 300 years ago.
