Phattalung lake from a peninsular on its east side

Continuing from The sea halfway between Nakhon Si Thammarat and Songkhla.

Next we headed inland to get to the tip of a peninsular which extends onto the giant lake of Phattalung.

There is a restaurant with an eating area above water.

The Phattalung lake extends over 50 km long and almost 20 km wide.

This peninsular is situated about halfway down the length.

I don't know the name of the area. It is the only obvious and biggest peninsular on the east side of the lake.

The views shown before are actually northwards. I had to walk for about 200 metres to find good views towards the west.

So this is towards the west side of the lake...

See the mountains or hills in the background? That is somewhere around the city of Phattalung. I know because I have been there at least twice. Look at the follow old article. Phattalung from the highest point at Ho Fah Hotel

And I have also viewed towards this peninsular from that side. It was just in my first visit end of 2017 I thought the lake is called Lake Songkhla. So I labelled my articles as the following :-

Actually this the Phattalung lake but it is attached to the smaller but still vast Songkhla lake to the south. But I still didn't really realised this in  a later visit at the end of 2019. It is just then I labelled the relevant article based on the name of the viewing place which is Lam  Pam. Look at True attraction of Lam Pam.
