On to the 4th day of the recent Perak trip.
Saturday morning 16th September 2023. I decided to climb up the peak called Bukit Larut in Taiping.
About 4,100 feet tall from sea level, it is actually a lower peak connected to the main mountain called Gunung Hijau which is some 650 feet taller.
I intend to climb only up to a certain level due to lack of time.
Admittedly, stamina-wise I was also lacking.
But that could be rectified by taking a lot of rest along the way.
For that much time is needed while I still have a number of places to visit that day.
I noticed a lot of repair works going on at some slopes.
If not because of that problem there are regular services of jeep-like vehicles which could take passengers up till the summit of Bukit Larut.
I've been up to that summit 2-3 times before on such vehicles.
This was the first time I climbed on foot.
