The cafe in ISTAC

Continuing stories from the weekend.

In the article Views from Bukit Tunku lookout point at night I've said that I have often driven around the posh area of Bukit Tunku in Kuala Lumpur. Let it be added that the main reason I do so, at least since the last few years, is because I started doing postgraduate studies at ISTAC (International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation)  towards the end of 2018.

It is situated at a part of Bukit Tunku and now I want to show a certain part of its campus.

This part has been practically abandoned for many years due to inactivity.

But it became alive again just over a month ago.

I'm talking about the cafe in ISTAC...

While it is situated in a posh area and ISTAC itself is known to be an elite intellectual institute the cafe is opened to the general public.

Then you can have a look around ISTAC.

What I've shown here is only a small part of the ISTAC campus which was built like a castle complex. It was built over 10 years ago to emulate the Alhambra Palace in Andalusian Spain.
