Peace be upon you. This is from last night.
Monday night 17th June 2024. While on the way from Muar to get back home in Bandar Sungai Buaya I brought the family to the Melaka city centre where lies this place.
At one side is the replica of Melaka Sultanate palace which is museum.
This is the gate known as the A Famosa.
It leads to this hill which was the centre of ruling of the Melaka Sultanate in the 15th centre AD.
As far as I could remember this is the first time I visited it after it has been renamed to Bukit Melaka, the hill of Melaka.
Previously it was designated as Saint Paul's Hill.
The name is a remnant from the Portuguse conquest of Melaka starting in 1511 AD and this building is a reminder...
So is the statue of Saint Paul in front of the building...
