Peace be upon. Just felt like sharing stories on a mish mash of activities within the last 2 weeks.
Sunday afternoon 18th May 2025. After attending a small gathering at a friend's place in Sungai Tengi I rode my trusty old big bike to this rural small road.
It leads to Sungai Tengi dam reservoir.
This is the first time we have ever been at this reservoir.
It is the only one in the northwest part of the state of Selangor...
I first learned about its existence some time after 2008, after moving to Bandar Tasik Puteri with the wife some 50 km journey to its south.
But it is only when we moved to Bandar Sungai Buaya some 20 km nearer that I finally felt like checking out the place.
Yet at one time, while trying approach from Sungai Tengi plantation area in the west I found a connecting bridge totally destroyed following a then recent flood.
Another time, I tried to approach from Lembah Beringin to its north east but found the small road which Google Map shows as leading to the reservoir suspicious. So I turned back and abandoned the attempt.
This time, I took the same route from the plantation area and found the bridge had been repaired.
The road was also in good condition...
We got to see the reservoir from many angles...
