Climbing up Bukit Pengkalan in Pagoh - Part I

Peace be upon you. From last weekend.

Saturday afternoon 16th August 2025. As I was in Muar to visit my parents with the wife I decided to go to a hill called Bukit Pengkalan in Pagoh, about 20 km from their house.

I have been eyeing to climb this 210-metre-high hill for almost 2 decades.

But it is only in the last 2-3 months that I found out there are clear trails to get to the top.

And so it happened that me and wife wanted to visit my parents in Muar last weekend.

And there weather seemed fine that Saturday...

So there I was making a climb.

From my observation this is the first and lowest peak out of five.

It is situated about 150 metres above sea level.

Seen to the left is the second peak. To the right should be the third.
