Tuesday 9th September 2025. I have to sent the wife to a function in Sungai Long.
It happened that a few days earlier I came across news that the EKVE, the East Klang Valley Expressway was finally opened on 1st September. And the toll is free until end of month.
It happened that the highway connects to Sungai Long. So there I was looking for the closest entry from the north which is near Bukit Antarabangsa.
However I found that portion is not complete yet.
The newly opened portion, the majority of the highway, actually starts at Ampang near Bukit Belacan...

Actually much of the sections have been completed many years ago.
It fact the highway was actually slated to be opened around 2-3 years ago.
It happened that there came complication delaying the opening.
Whatever I got to finally drive on the highway which passes through hills east of the Klang Valley towards the main mountain range that is Banjaran Titiwangsa...
