Peace be upon you. On 9th till 23rd February me and family went for an overseas trip to do umrah, the recommended pilgrimage to Mecca. Visits were made here and there including transits in Istanbul. So let's start sharing stories.
Trip was started when we boarded the 11.45pm flight to Istanbul from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport), Monday 9th February 2026. Arrived at the airport there at around 6.05 am local time, Tuesday 10th February. Then took the 8.30am tour bus to the city of Istanbul. Stopped by at this hilltop restaurant out of city centre for breakfast.
From there you can have good views of the surroundings.
These includes the Straits of Bosphorus which divides the continents of Europe and Asia.
Then there are the surrounding hillsides...
