The unique mosque at Sidam Kiri revisited

Continued from Sungai Kerian, the natural border between Perak and Kedah.




In the previous article I did say that I'm making supporting article for a new series being started at my Malay blogspot CATATAN SI MERAH SILU but forgot to say it is about a trip to the north made end of August 2010. Well, let me add. The trip was made with my wife and our then 10-month old baby Al-Rasyid. We soon arrived at an area called Sidam Kiri where I decided to make a visit to a unique-looking mosque.


I've been to this mosque 2 or 3 times before but my wife and obviously the baby have never been anywhere near...



So besides revisiting, I wanted to show them the mosque.


It happened that we arrived around 10 am Friday morning.



So the mosque was being prepared for Friday congregational prayers in the afternoon.
