Keris competition in Shah Alam

Peace be upon you all. Since the article The tomb of Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah of Melaka at night made over 3 weeks ago I have yet to post anything new in this blogspot. So here's one.

Last Saturday me and family went to Shah Alam to attend a function.

It is a keris competition, a competition for the Malay traditional blade which is often made wavy making it among the most unique weapon in the world.

The best keris were chosen according to categories, judged using criterias of which I have no idea what it is all about.

The connoiseurs however should now what makes a good keris. So I'll just display the winning ones chosen hours later according to their respective categories...
