Kuantan river mouth from Tanjung Api

Continued from Enjoying the waters of Cherating.

Reaching the town of Kuantan after dusk I immediately headed for a place called Tanjung Api.

It is situated besides the Kuantan river. I have long wanted to take views from here.

In fact Tanjung Api is situated at the northern bank of the river mouth.

Here's a look upriver. The colours in the background came from town.

I believe the sand tip here marks the actual place where the river meets the sea.
