Kuantan river near the Kenau estuary

Getting on with the relevant travel story. Continued from Kuantan river mouth from Tanjung Api.

Friday 1st March 2013. After spending the night at a cousin's place in Kuantan town I headed for the small town of Sungai Lembing and decided to take pictures of a river.

It is the Kuantan river some 50 km upstream from its mouth. By road the town of Kuantan is 38 km from here.

Further upstream you can see the river branching.

The one to the right is still the Kuantan river.
