Our main destination is a place called Beting Beras Basah situated at the Perak river mouth. It is accesible by land through a plantation then a bridge of sorts leading to a river side jetty.
The last time I was here was sometime late 2010.
There used to be a covered stage besides this well, a stage which is actually reserved for a certain royal ceremony.
Looks like it has been demolished, probably to make way for a new one.
I understand the whole place is being renovated to prepare for the coronation of the new Sultan of Perak.
